Field singularity on the edge in multisector structures with conducting faces

The phenomenon of the field singularity on the common edge of multisector structures of electromagnetic metamaterials in the presence of a wedge with ideally conducting faces is investigated. The patterns of formation of the singularity index are studied in relation to three- and four-sector structures whose permittivity or magnetic permeability have positive, negative, or zero values. A criterion for the occurrence of a hypersingularity value incompatible with the Meixner condition on the edge is proposed.
