Narrow-band alexandrite laser with external selective resonator
The results of experimental studies of the parameters of an alexandrite laser are presented. The possibility of generating narrow-band radiation with wavelength tuning in a composite resonator incorporating an external selective resonator is demonstrated. The dependences of the output radiation energy on the resonator length and the temperature of the alexandrite crystal are examined. The conditions for achieving a laser energy of 20 mJ at a spectral linewidth of 15 pm with smooth wavelength tuning in the spectral range of 730-780 nm are determined.
