Approaches to the construction of a typological model of electronic educational publications for higher education
The relevance of the article is to consider modern issues of the typology of electronic educational publications dictated by continuously developing information technologies. This research is devoted to the determination of basic typological criteria of modern ebooks for Russian higher education. The article is executed on a high academic level, contains a number of conclusions of practical interest. The conclusions show the need to change the system of modern standardization in the field of electronic book publishing, the possibility of applying an experimental typological model in the cataloging of high school ELS and the need to apply new typological criteria in practice. The article also briefly lists modern Russian electronic library systems that digitize research articles and materials. The new typological model unites the approach reflected in state standards with the works of scholars and book experts. On the basis of the study, the author proposes to take into account the special position of electronic educational publications for higher education in further research on the identification of typological criteria and in the modernization of existing standards of SIBID state standards, as well as in the cataloging of modern university ELS.
