The secret of a rarity. The materials of the correspondence conducted by the Queen of the Hellenes Olga with Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich (F. 253. OR RGB)
A version is proposed concerning the "saving cane" that descended on the head of a Japanese policeman who attacked Tsarevich Nikolai Alexandrovich during his visit to the "Land of the Rising Sun" (April 1891). An unknown letter from the Queen of the Hellenes Olga, the mother of Prince George, to Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich is published. It contains an order from the Royal Family to Carl Faberge for the manufacture of a unique handle in the form of a crow's beak. The author declares no conflicts of interests.
