Interrelation of competitiveness of modern workers with motivation of their work
Competition and competitiveness are integral attributes of market economic system. Now, it is possible to speak not only about competitiveness of the organization, its production or services, but also about competitiveness of the worker. Many enterprises under conditions of crisis could not avoid dismissal of workers. It became the prerequisite to increase in competition between workers in external, and domestic markets. Employees who are capable of adapting quickly to the situation and capable of meeting the increased requirements of the employer and labor market in general became most demanded. Now information opportunities allow skilled workers to change a work place without special time expenditure. Threat of loss of skilled workers is pressing for the organization. The employer, therefore, has to create an attractive working environment and corporate culture, satisfying to needs of the worker. Successful motivation of work promotes preservation of the highly skilled personnel in the organization, providing thereby high competitiveness and stability of the enterprises in the market environment that in turn conducts to economic stability of the country in general. According to it, increase of high-quality management and effective use of human resources is one of necessary conditions of development of the enterprises during economic stabilization. It is possible to achieve it by means of selection which is most qualified so and the competitive personnel capable to the timely solution of strategic tasks. Thus, not only abilities of workers are important, but also their desire to work. According to this, questions of motivation and work incentives come out on top today. O.V. Lysenko notes that "it is necessary to understand ability to the individual achievements in work representing a contribution to achievement of the organizational purposes as competitiveness of the worker. Competitiveness of the worker is defined "y the quality of labor corresponding to market need for functional quality of work". In our opinion, in labor market it is necessary to understand the complex characteristic of the worker determining his comparative positions in relation to other workers in labor market by knowledge, skills, competences of process of performance of similar types of works or professions as competitiveness of the worker. It should be noted that competitiveness represents not simply complex assessment reflecting extent of development of those or components of labor potential of the worker. It appears as a certain clamp of compliance of the worker to requirements of labor market at a given time. Increase of competitiveness of workers will promote decrease in unemployment, social tension in society and to growth of welfare of the population. Thus, for the worker the high level of motivation will lead to improvement of its financial position, the general psychological state, development of interest in work, improvement of quality of work and improvement of labor life of the worker. Thus, competitiveness of the worker and level of his motivation are closely interconnected. The motivation level in the organization is higher, the professional level and competitiveness of the worker is higher. On the contrary, competitive workers are necessary for the enterprises, thus, in order that to hold them in the organization, it is necessary to create the maximum conditions for this purpose, organizing effective system of labor motivation by means of various incentives.
