Criterial analysis of the dynamics of the heat conduction process using a model system as an example

Based on the dynamic model of heat conduction processes in solids considered in the previous work, a criterial analysis of process stability is carried out. The stability of solutions to the model equations is investigated using the methods of the NSE stability theory and the L-criterion. The conditions for possible instabilities are obtained. It is shown that they are caused by the nonlinearity, nonequilibrium, and heterogeneity of the system and that instabilities manifest themselves in the form of excitation of thermal oscillations and waves.
